Set against the sun-soaked shores of Italy in the summertime, seven different tales unfold about life, love, loss, family, and friendship.

An actor is asked to play the role of a trawler fisherman in a movie. To prepare him for the role, he is sent on board a trawler to learn the basics from the experienced fishermen. The actor is Valdimar Örn Flygenring. The trawler is Breki VE 61 from the Vestmanna Islands. The time is April 1991.
